Pioneers Defeat Wake Tech

Ta’Keria Legette’s double-double fueled a home victory for the Pioneers. Legette finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Jayla Hopkins (11) and Aliyah Whiteside (14) also contributed double figures. 

Coach Macy on the win: "This was a huge response game after adversity. I am really pleased how everyone has stepped up and contributed. If we can keep improving in December, this could become a special season."

Next up for SMC is Region X play. The Pioneers travel to Caldwell on Thursday.
