Denmark Tech Downs the Pioneers

The Denmark Panthers downed the Pioneers in a nail-biter Saturday at Bridges Arena.  The Pioneers had the last shot to tie the game, but it fell short as the Pioneers dropped to 17-4 on the season.  Poor shooting from behind the arc and lack of rebounding contributed to the loss. Freshman Yasmine Cook led all scorers with 18 while Freshman Grace Ikenegbu had a big game with 13 hard-earned points and 6 rebounds.  The Pioneers will travel to Denmark Tech next weekend for a rematch with the Panthers.
