Hutto Leads Way For Pioneers at Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, TN., In cold and windy conditions, Freshman Brooke Hutto shot rounds of 84-81=165 to finish in a tie for 30th in the Tusculum College Spring Invitational. Scores were high for the event in Greeneville, TN due to unseasonably cold and windy weather. Sophomore Abrea Grant finished in a tie for 75th. In the 15 team field, Newberry College edged Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman for the team competition. Elizabeth England shot a two day total of 146 to win the individual title. The Lady Pioneers return to action next week for the Region X Championship in Youngsville, NC to determine qualifiers for Nationals.
