Hutto and Grant Qualify for National Tournament

PINEHURST, NC., Back to Nationals! For the third year in a row, Pioneer golfers have qualified for the NJCAA National Golf Tournament. Brooke Hutto and Abrea Grant both finished in the top ten to earn automatic berths to the event held May 16-19 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fl. Sandhills Community College won the team competition to qualify for nationals. Freshman Brooke Hutto played well in blustery conditions at The Olde Liberty Golf Club in Youngsville, NC to win the event. Hutto is only the second player in school history to win the Region X Championship as an individual.
