Women's Golf Came Out Strong at the Anderson University Invitational

Anderson, SC - The Lady Pioneers women's golf team continued their South Carolina swing as they traveled to Anderson to compete in the Anderson University Invitational at Cobbs Glenn Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. The SMC Women's golf team was greeted with extremely hot weather for both days but worked hard and powered through. They came out strong and made a stand within the NCAA division ll field. 

 

Sophomore Amelia Majcina shooting a low round of 86 at the Anderson University Invitational. New to the team Athena Dotskia and Mckinsey Bizzell also fought hard and post great scores for there first college tournament.  

 

Women's golf will make there next appearance at the Georgia Military Bulldog Classic at The Harbor Club Lake Oconee on September 23-24.
