Lady Pioneers Finish 9th in Fall Season Opener

The Pioneers teed it up in Jekyll Island, GA, for their first tournament of the 2023-24 season on September 11 & 12. Sophomore Lindsey Greene lead the team to a 9^th place finish with a two-day total of 162, earning her an individual T-24^th finish. Greene shot 83 in the first round. Her second round 79 is her best collegiate round to date. Sophomore Joy Outhous was only 5 strokes back, finishing with a two day total of 167 (85, 82). Rounding out the Pioneers scores were freshmen Melanie Meredith and Sophie Smith. The team will tee it up again in two weeks when they travel to Beacon Ridge Golf Club to play in the Sandhills Fall Intercollegiate.
