Pioneer Wrestlers stay undefeated

CLEVELAND, GA

The Pioneer Wrestling team traveled to Cleveland, Ga on Tuesday night to compete in a dual match against the NAIA Truett-McConnell Bears.

The Pioneers upset the Bears 39 to 13.

Coach Rob Sater stated, "I am very pleased with the effort shown by our guys in starting 4-0 this year. We have beaten four talented four year schools, with each and every win they continue to set school wrestling records.  If I had to choose a highlight from tonight it would be Cole Leighton upsetting their returning NAIA National qualifying redshirt junior."

The Pioneers travel to Orlando, Florida this weekend to wrestle NCAA D1 University of Central Florida on Friday and to compete in the Knights Open Tournament on Saturday.
