SMC Wrestler Chris Moungle ranked 7th in the Country!
Spartanburg Methodist College Wrestler, Freshman, Christopher Moungle Jr is currently the number 7 ranked 149lber in the country. Chris came to SMC from South Mecklenburg HS in North Carolina. He was a NC State Champ and MOW of the tournament his senior year. He placed 8th at the NHSCA Senior National Tournament. Chris has been off to an excellent start to the 2016-17 season. He currently holds a 15-5 record placing in four tournaments this year with two finals appearances. He was the tournament Champion at the Niagara CCC Thunderwolves Open.
You can watch Chris in action this Friday, December 9th at 7:00pm in the Moore Gymnasium (Old Gym) as we take on Division II rival Belmont Abbey College.
