NJCAA National Wrestling Championships Brackets
The NJCAA National Wrestling Championship brackets have been released. SMC will see seven different wrestlers compete For a National Title or All-American status. Five of the pioneer wrestling team has been seeded in the top 8 of their weight class, 133lber Tramon Jenkins, 149lber Aaron Fountain, 157lber Brandon Harris, 197lber Evan Makupson, and 285lber Andrew Wade. 141lber Tramone Jenkins and 174lber Caleb Spears were both randomly drawn into their bracket.
Currently the Pioneers have two wrestlers ranked within the top 8 in their weight classes in the National Poll. Brandon Harris and Caleb Spears are both ranked 8th in their weight classes.
Wrestling will begin at 9:30am CST on Friday February 23rd. The second day of events will only be the All-American and placement rounds.
