Pioneers Qualify Six for Nationals

Scranton, PA – The Pioneers had a successful showing at the NE District II Championships on Saturday, qualifying six wrestlers for the NJCAA National Wrestling Championships in March.

1^st Place:

125lbs Tramon Jenkins (Beaufort, SC)

141lbs Loye Burkhead (Moncks Corner, SC)

174lbs Caleb Spears (Rutherfordton, NC)

3^rd Place:

197lbs Cooper Kaminsky (Beaufort, SC)

4^th Place:

JD Harrelson (Goose Creek, SC)

5^th Place (wildcard selection):

Victor Tello (Greer, SC)

The NJCAA National Wrestling Championship will be held at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 1^st and 2^nd.  Brackets for the National Championships will be released Wednesday, February 20^th.
