Pioneer Women's Soccer wins seventh match in a row

MARTINSVILLE, VA- The Lady Pioneers (11-1) traveled to Martinsville, VA and defeated Patrick Henry CC. 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. Kacee Merritt (Cacye, SC) scored 32 seconds into the match, the early goal was assisted by Lexi Garcia (Greenville, SC), one of her three assists on the afternoon. Sara Dorsett (Travelers Rest, SC) scored two goals, one at the eight minute and one at the 58th minute mark. Kayla McMillan (Spartanburg,SC) also scored two goals, one at the 28th minute and the other just 12 seconds into the second half. Kayla Walker (Lexington, SC) added an assist. Elizabeth Brooks (Charleston,SC) and Kayla Walker combined in goal for the teams 8th shutout. 

SMC will host Cape Fear Community College on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm
