Women's Soccer preps for Region X Tourney

SPARTANBURG, SC- The 16-1 Lady Pioneer Soccer team looks to continue one of their best seasons in school history this weekend in the Region X Soccer Tournament hosted by Louisburg College. The #1 seed SMC quad will face off against #5 seed USC Salkehatchie Indians (5-10) at 1:00pm on Saturday afternoon in the tournaments first semi-final. SMC has defeated USC Salkehatchie 5-0 both times this season but know anything can happen in the post season and will be prepared for a strong test from the Indians. 

The winner will play for the Region X Tournament Championship on Sunday at 3:00pm against the winner of the #2 Cape Fear (12-3-1) and #3 Louisburg College (11-4-1) semi-final match.
