Lady Pioneer Soccer storybook season ends

SPARTANBURG, SC- The Lady Pioneers suffered their first loss on their home field today to end the season in the District L Championship game 3-2 to Harford Community College. 

The Lady Pioneers scored two goals in the first half one by Kacee Merritt  assisted by Madison Salters at the 17 minute mark and at the 28^th minute mark by an own goal by Harford CC.  SMC took a 2-0 half time lead.

 SMC was not able to survive a strong second half by the Owls giving up three goals in an eight minute span during the second half. 

The Lady Pioneers final record ends at 18-2 and Region X Champions.
