Lady Pioneers dominate, advance to Region X semi-finals

SPARTANBURG, SC., The Lady Pioneers Soccer team defeated Wake Tech Community College 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon in a constant rain and improved to 10-7 (10-3 in Region X) and advanced to the semi-finals of the NJCAA Region X tournament.  The semifinal match will be against Louisburg College on Oct 31^st at Legion Stadium in Wilmington, NC. SMC and Louisburg split the season series with each team winning close matches on the road. 

Ciera Smith from Columbia, SC scored three goals at the 32^nd, 43^rdand 69^th minutes, Smith also had an assist. Sara Dorsett from Travelers Rest, SC added goals at the 12^th and 64^th minutes and also had an assist.  Cyarah Wilson from Summerville, SC scored at the 10^th and 59^th minutes and added one assist. Kaela Mansell from Airport, SC added one goal at the 16^th minute.  Lexi Garcia from Greer, SC and Sarai Bowman from Summerville, SC each added an assist.
