Lady Pioneers improve to 4-0
SPARTANBURG, SC., The Lady Pioneers earned a convincing 9-0 win over Wake Tech CC on Saturday afternnon on the SMC Campus.
Freshman Remi Olalere from Charleston, SC and freshman Sissy Mungin from Beaufort, SC led the way with two goals and two assists each. Freshman Daisy Wingard from Airport, SC had two goals and one assist. Freshman Whitney Osborne from Lugof, SC and Sophomore Heather Blaszak from Summerville ,SC both had a goal and assist. Rounding out the scoring was freshman Kendall Spivey. Sophomore Sarah Richardson also had an assist.
Freshman goalkeeper Chassity Freeman from Columbia, SC had her first career shutout with four saves.
The Lady Pioneers remain 15th in the NJCAA polls and are now 4-0.
