SMC vs Patrick Henry

The Lady Pioneers rebounded from a tough loss on Friday against Georgia Military to beat Region X opponent patrick Henry CC. The lady Pioneers jumped out to an early lead when freshman Elizabeth McGee (Columbia, SC) ripped a shot over the keepers head. The assist on the goal was by Sophomore Remi Olalere (Ladson,SC). Patrick Henry then equalized from a corner kick ten minutes later. Olalere put SMC back on top when she finished her chance from the top of the box. Her goal was assisted by Cailyn Marrietti (Charleston, SC). Marrietti made it 3-1 before the half when she slid a breakaway past the keeper on an assist by Freshman Jackie Marshal (Greer, SC). Patrick Henry scored ten minutes into the second half to make it 3-2. freshman Jennifer Byrd (Boiling Springs, SC) made big saves throughout the game to get her first college win.
