Volleyball Fights Hard at Walters State Tournament this Weekend

The Pioneers embarked on an exciting journey to Morristown, TN, to kick off the Walters State Community College Tournament. On the first day of the tournament, they squared off against the formidable Wallace St. squad.

In a hard-fought battle, the Pioneers matched point for point with Wallace in the opening set. Although it was a close call, unforced errors ultimately tilted the scales in favor of the Wallace State Lions, securing a 3-set victory.

Day two brought fresh challenges as the Pioneers took on Andrew College, where they triumphed with a decisive 3-0 victory. The highlight, however, was an epic showdown against Walters St. that went the distance in a nail-biting 5-set thriller.

Throughout the weekend, the Pioneers showcased incredible growth and unwavering determination, leaving a lasting impression.

The journey continues as the Pioneers hit the road next weekend for the Vikings Invitational in Palatka, FL. With their fighting spirit and resilience, there's no doubt they'll be ones to watch. #RollNeers
