Allen comes to Spartanburg Methodist College from Earlham College, where she has been the Quakers head coach since 2021. During her time at Earlham, she coached four Academic All-Americans and a had a player named to the HCAC All-Tournament Team.

“I'm very excited to be joining the Pioneer family and to be returning home to South Carolina. SMC women's golf is in a great position to grow and find similar success as the men's team has had in the last few years,” Allen said.  “I want to thank Athletic Director Megan Aiello and the rest of the hiring committee for entrusting me to helm the women's golf team and bring the program into seasons of success both on the course and in the classroom.”

Prior to joining the Earlham staff, Allen was the head girl’s coach at Bishop England. The Battling Bishops saw immediate success under her leadership, finishing in third place at the South Carolina State Tournament, moving up five places from the previous year.  In addition, Allen was named The Post & Courier’s Low Country Girls Golf Coach of the Year in 2020.

Allen started her coaching career at Wingate University, where she spent two years as a graduate assistant.  In just two seasons, the Bulldogs won the South Atlantic Conference Championship, qualified for the NCAA DII South Regional Championship, and earned a top fifteen National Ranking in both seasons.  In addition, Allen assisted in coaching four NCAA Academic All-Americans and two NCAA All-Americans.
