Primed Up For The Region 10 Championship

The ladies traveled to the Farm for the Newberry Invitational. Leading the Run-NEERS was Mikayla Wilson who ran a season best time of 24:16 through 5K. “Mikayla has been getting faster through the season. It will be exciting to see her times during championship season.”

Next up was freshman Alondra Velazquez who ran a personal best time of 25:22. “Alondra has been maturing well through our season. Expect her to continue this growth as she preps for the Region Championship.”

Closing out the Pioneers were Kiley Meadows, Mariela Velazquez, and Tiera Parson. “All three of these ladies used this race as preparation for the Region Championship. Excited to see what they can do when the pressure is on.”

Overall, a solid day for the Pioneers who are primed are ready to their shot at a Region 10 XC Championship. Championship is Saturday, 10/29, at the Milliken Arboretum with an 11:00AM start time!
