Sprouse Leads Pioneers to 7th Place Finish at NGU Invitational

Columbia, SC - Joshua Sprouse fired rounds of 71-76 to finish in a tie for 5th place individually on the challenging Columbia Country Club course in Columbia, SC. Conditions were cool and windy both days which made conditions quite difficult for the field. The Pioneers moved up one spot to 7th place in round two with a team score of 314-315=629. Montgomery Harris improved by three shots in round two with a score of 77 followed by Jacob Richardson (80) and Matthew McDonald (82). Catawba College won the team portion of the event followed by Erskine College and Southern Wesleyan University. Zach McLain of Erskine College won the individual portion with a two day score of 144. 

The Pioneers return to action in April with the District Championship in Illinois.
