Pioneers Compete Again At Anderson University

The Pioneers headed to Anderson University for the second time this season to compete at the Electric City Invitational this past weekend. “This meet was a step in the right direction for us as a team. Many hit PRs and season bests which will set them up nicely for our season finale and USC on 4/23.”

Men’s Notable Performances:

• Kai’Letri Hunter ran a personal best 11.25 in the 100m. He followed that with another PR in the 200m, 23.19.
• Garet Morgan hit a PR 400m time of 55.20, dropping over a second!
• Cameron Gossett took down his Steeple best by 10 seconds, 10:33.87.
• Marc Mixtega hit another PR in his 1500m this season, 4:54.65.

Women’s Notable Performances:

• Madison Chesney ran her season-best in the 800m with a time of 2:31.34.
• Mikayla Wilson continues to run right around her best times of the season in the 1500m, 6:01.43, and the 800m, 2:59.49.

The Pioneers will close out their season at the USC open this Saturday in Columbia, SC.
