The Spartanburg Methodist College track and field programs competed at the Victor Ice Breaker Duals @ Berry College on Saturday, 3/4. A great day for the Pioneers as many hit their personal bests! "Always exciting to see our athletes hit their best marks, or very close, on the first meet of the season, a sign of things to come," said Coach King.

Notes from the meet:

• De'Janaeia Johnson hit her PR in the shotput, 9.97.
• Zander Allen ran the 1500m, 4:23.53, and 800m, 2:12.43.
• Brandon Loudermilk chopped off more time from his 400m running a PR of 55.14. Also, ran the 200m in a PR of 25:59.
• Alondra, 5:57.97/2:47.77, and Mariela Velazquez, 6:05.05/2:56.12, took to the 1500m and 800m double.
• Also, competing were Vincent Littlejohn (100m - 12.52) and Trey Tynes (800M - 2:14.78)

The Pioneer track and field athletes will be heading to Anderson University on March 18^th.
