Pitt - 1 : SMC -6
The SMC Pioneers came out strong against the #17 Pitt Bulldogs by scoring 5 of their 6 runs in the first two innings. Lindsay Jordahl improved to 5-8 on the year, only giving up one run to the Bulldogs. Hannah Cannon went 1-2 on the day with a double while Lauren Reed went 2-4 with 1 home run and 2 RBI's. Brooke Moore and Emma Williams both added an RBI of their own to help lead the Pioneers to a 6-1 victory over the Bulldogs.
Game 2
SMC-4 : Pitt- 5
The Pitt Bulldogs bounced back in the second game with a 4-0 lead going into the 4th inning against the SMC pitching of Alexis McCormick. The Pioneers rallied back late in the 7th inning, scoring 2 runs, but came up short to give Pitt the 5-4 win. Kristen Grass wen 1-4 with 2 RBi's, Jessica Stanley and Emma Williams went 2-3 scoring 1 run a piece.
