Winter weather cuts Women's Golf season opener short

SPARTANBURG, SC- SMC Women's Golf participated in the Converse Spring Invite on Monday at Carolina Country Club. Mother nature had other plans for Tuesday's second round and the Pioneers wer left with a 16th place finish against NCAA four year schools.

Nikita Arjun tied for 17th overall with a +9 (81). Amber Easler shot a 87 and tied for 39th. Haley Tucker (93), Kelsey Robinson (108), and Ashley Rogers (108) rounded out the Pioneers overall score of 369.

SMC will return to action March 22nd at the Emmanuel College Spring Invitational.
