Amber Burrell Named as the New Women's Head Golf Coach

Amber Burrell enters her 1st year at SMC as the Head Women's golf coach. Amber lives in Inman, SC and attended Chapman High School where she began her golf career. Amber then went on to further her education and golf career at Spartanburg Methodist College. During her time at SMC, she qualified for the national tournament as an individual. After her two years at Spartanburg Methodist College, she then went on to finish her Bachelor's degree at Southern Wesleyan University where she was a top member of the Warriors women golf team. She graduated Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Recreation. 

 

Amber comes to us from Montreat College where she was the assistant golf coach for the men and women's golf program. Amber also received her Master's degree in management and leadership during her time at Montreat College.
