Track Wraps Up the Season at App State

Absolutely beautiful day for track and field up in Boone, North Carolina this weekend and the times showed! The Pioneers left the weekend with 10 lifetime bests and 2 more season bests. Sophia Outhous would once again re-write her school record in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.74. Diamond Croft moved into 8th on the women’s 200 meter dash in school history. The team finished the year with high spirits and a lot of pride as they took on many Division 1- and 4-year athletics programs and held their own.

At the conclusion of the weekend, SMC wrapped up it’s final season both as a junior college and club program. Be on the lookout as this team starts competing for titles next year in the NAIA!
