The Pioneer Men's and Women's Half Marathon teams run at Nationals

Topeka, Kansas – The men's and women's half marathon team placed 6th and 8th respectively at the NJCAA Half Marathon Championship.

Pioneers Highlights

• Joshua Doyle placed 38th overall for the Pioneers and Ali Bennett placed 31st as both lead the team in the half marathon event.    
• The women's team placed 6th overall with just 3 points separating them from the 5th spot.    

Post-meet Thoughts
"Bitter cold today with wind gust of 20+ mph across Lake Shawnee made things tough for every team running.  Both Pioneer team's ran tough today and put in a good effort.  It was a great event to finish up the season and gain needed experience for next season.  Ready to take a couple of weeks off and gear up for offseason."  says Ken Roach
