Spartanburg Methodist College Fan Code of Conduct

Spartanburg Methodist College is committed to creating a fun, competitive, and welcoming environment for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and fans. We expect all in attendance to demonstrate good sportsmanship and always maintain a respectful atmosphere. Fans who engage in disorderly, abusive, or disruptive behavior may be subject to ejection without refund, loss of re-entry privileges, and/or arrest.

In the spirit of sportsmanship, SMC expects that all fans:

• Do not exhibit disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, obscene, or abusive language or gestures.
• Do not interfere with the progress of the game.
• Refrain from throwing objects onto the field/court for any reason.
• Refrain from entering the playing field at any time, including after the game.
• Do not show intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment resulting in poor behavior.
• Respect the Spartanburg Methodist College tobacco/vape-free campus policy.
• Do not engage in fighting or physical violence of any type.
• Support the players, coaches, and officials in a positive manner
• Treat the visiting team, coaches and fans with courtesy and respect at all times
