Region 10 Beach Volleyball Season Comes to a Close
Dallas, NC: Lady Pioneers Beach Volleyball finish season at Region 10 Tournament.
To conclude the 2024 Beach season, the Lady Pioneers finished the Region Tournament 1-2 on the day, beating Wake Tech 3-1, then falling to #1 Richard Bland 0-3. After their match against Richard Bland, SMC had to face the defeated team between Sandhills Community College Flyers and host, Gaston College Rhinos. The Flyers fought hard and defeated the Rhinos 3-1, which meant the next matchup was between the Lady Pioneers and the Rhinos. Looking to avenge their loss against Richard Bland and secure a spot to nationals, the Lady Pioneers battled tirelessly before falling to the Rhinos, ending their season.
The SMC Beach Volleyball team finished 4th in Region 10, ending their final season of competing at the NJCAA level.
