2014 SMC Baseball Hitting Camp

SPARTANBURG, SC- Spartanburg Methodist College Head Baseball Coach Tim Wallace has announced the dates for the 2014 SMC Hitting Camp. The camp will be held on December 6th and 7th. There will be two sessions (Session 1: 8am-12:30p) and (Session 2: 1:30p-6:00pm) 

The camp staff will consist of: 

Monte Lee- College of Charleston

Bubba Dorman- USC Salkehatchie

Chris Kemp- San Diego Padres Scout

Wesley Rogers- Colorado Rockies Minor Leaguer

Travis Witherspoon- Seattle Mariners

Bruce Caldwell- St Louis Cardinals Minor Leaguer

Marty Gantt- Tampa Bay Rays Minor Leaguer

Jake Koenig- SMC Assistant Coach

Jeremy Joye- SMC Assistant Coach

Doug Angeli- Private hitting instructor

Director- Tim Wallace, Head Coach at Spartanburg Methodist College, will serve as the director of the camp. As a coach, and as a former 2nd round draft pick of the St. Louis Cardinals, Wallace has extensive experience in coordinating, facilitating and instructing at various baseball camps throughout his career. 

Application and Fees: Please fill out the registration form and camp fee of 150.00 and return to SMC Hitting Camp/Tim Wallace at 1000 Powell Mill Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Enrollment will be limited to 48 players per session. Make all checks out to Spartanburg Methodist College.
