SMC Men's Golf Ranked #17th

The men's and women's program find themselves in familiar territory, with both teams in the top 20 nationally according to the latest Golfstat.com poll. The Lady Pioneers find themselves ranked 8th in the country, while the men are currently ranked 17th in the country. Sophomores Hunter Parks and Matthew Terry are in the top 150 nationally on the individual men's side and Shannon Heerey, Brooke Hutto, Paige Johnson, and Meghan Thompson rank in the top 60 nationally with both Shannon Heerey and Brooke Hutto in the top 30 in the country. The Pioneers hope to improve these rankings closing out the fall semester with two NCJAA events culminating with the Region X Fall Championship hosted by Spartanburg Methodist College.
