The Lady Pioneers bring home the win from USC Lancaster!

SMC traveled to USC Lancaster for the second region 10 matchup is as many days. Lancaster did not waste any time with getting on the board in the first minute off a corner kick. That woke up the Pioneers and they would control most of the game. Caitlin Lagos tied the game in the 11^th minute from a Krystal Martinez corner kick. 12 minutes later, a replay of a corner kick from Martinez to Lagos put SMC up 2-1 going into halftime. The lady Pioneers kept their foot on the gas with a goal from CJ Hawkins after a great pass from Tiffiah Cruell. Camila Moscoso put the game out of reach with a goal in the 81^st minute to make it 4-1. Gwen Orr was dominate in goal once again with 4 saves on the evening. The Lady Pioneers have a 9 day break before their next game on October 7^th when they travel to Southwest Virginia Community College. SMC moves to 6-3-1 and 2-0-0 in region play.
