Women's Soccer Wrap Up the 23-24 Season

SMC hosted USC Lancaster on Saturday in the Region 10 Championship game. The Pioneers came out with a lot of energy and grabbed 2 goals in the first 8 minutes of the game. Camila Moscoso had a stunning goal in the 4th minute off a free kick that she put in the upper left corner. Camila made it 2-0 four minutes later when she cleaned up a Camden Brooks shot. Lancaster clawed back with a goal late in the first half to make it 2-1 at halftime. Both teams were looking for the next goal after halftime and it wasn't until the 83rd minute that Lancaster got the tying goal. They would ride the momentum and score the game winning goal 3 minutes later. Gwen Orr was huge in goal with 6 saves.  The Lady Pioneers finish the season 9-4-2.
