Women's Soccer Wrap Up the 23-24 Season

SMC hosted USC Lancaster on Saturday in the Region 10 Championship game. The Pioneers came out with a lot of energy and grabbed 2 goals in the first 8 minutes of the game. Camila Moscoso had a stunning goal in the 4^th minute off a free kick that she put in the upper left corner. Camila made it 2-0 four minutes later when she cleaned up a Camden Brooks shot. Lancaster clawed back with a goal late in the first half to make it 2-1 at halftime. Both teams were looking for the next goal after halftime and it wasn't until the 83^rd minute that Lancaster got the tying goal. They would ride the momentum and score the game winning goal 3 minutes later. Gwen Orr was huge in goal with 6 saves.  The Lady Pioneers finish the season 9-4-2.
