Pioneer Men ranked 16th , Women ranked 15th In Recent NJCAA Golfstat Poll

SPARTANBURG, SC- Spartanburg Methodist College men's and women's golf programs are ranked in the top 20 nationally in the most recent NJCAA Golfstat poll. "This is a huge achievement for our overall golf program. We have worked for years to have teams that have talent and depth for daily competition within the teams. I could not be more proud" says Kyle Owings, Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach. Certain players have really made a difference so far this season. Sophomores, Bernie McShane and Briar Herd are ranked  48th and 76th in the individual rankings and Freshman Nikita Arjun is ranked 27th nationally on the women's side. "Nikita has truly been a difference maker this season. She has earned All-Tournament honors in each event this fall" says Owings. The spring season opens up in late February for both programs.
