Jones Leads Pioneers to Region X Championship Event at Louisburg

LOUISBURG, SC- Connor Jones once again paced the Pioneers to a tournament victory at the Louisburg College UFO Hurricane Dispute event held at The River Golf and Country Club in Louisburg, NC. Jones shot a 36-37=73 for the day to finish in 3rd place. Briar Herd and Jack Alexander shot solid rounds of 76.

This is the second team victory of the year for the Pioneers. Austin Prince lead the B team with a 77 in his first tournament action for the year. "I am proud of the way the team played in difficult conditions, and to get a victory against region competition is equally rewarding." says Coach Kyle Owings.

The Pioneers return to action March 22-24 in the Emmanuel College Spring Invitational held at the beautiful Cateechee Golf Club in Hartwell, GA.
