The Lady Pioneers traveled to Denmark, SC today to open Region X play against Denmark Tech.
The Pioneers fell to the defending Region X Champions 76-72. SMC rallied in the second half after trailing 49-35 at the break.
Crystle Samuel led the Pioneers (6-10) with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Morgan Alexander added 12 points and 19 boards.
The Pioneers return to action on Tuesday as the travel to Clinton Junior College for a 5:30 tip
