Lady Pioneers Outlast the Senators

In a rival game Saturday the Pioneers defeated Walters State Community College 60-49 moving to 8-2 on the season.  In the extraordinary defensive team effort, Sophomore Najah Gilliam led the Pioneers with 12, while freshmen Jadien Hayes finished with 11 and Yasmine Cook 10. The Senators committed 35 turnovers against the Pioneer Pressure.  The ladies will be back in action Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 vs Louisburg College.
