Team- 14 off reb, 19 def reb, 25 assists, 19 steals, and 17 turnovers

Coach Clark's corner: I am pleased to see that the freshmen class can step up and handle the pressure of playing at the collegiate level unselfishly and confident. 25 assists, 19 steals and 63% from the floor. Not one freshmen stood out above the rest tonight they performed as a unit and executed the offense and defense as intended. Even though we will still have a lot to work on, none the rest this game was fun to watch.  All eight freshmen scored and contributed significant minutes. The sophomores and I are looking forward to the same type of effort and are excited to see how the freshmen carry this win over to help as we continue through the season.

Bryant-Stratton- 72, SMC 38

Breanna Hines led the Pioneers with 10 points and was the only player in double figures. Heather Chapman added seven points and five rebounds. Yazmeen Young collected nine rebounds. SMC shot 19-57 from the floor and 4-14 from the free throw line.

The Pioneers will return to action on Thursday as they travel to Milligan College.
