Correction - Smc Women's Basketball Loses to Wake Tech
Half time- 28-34 Wake Tech
Final- 74-68 Wake Tech
SMC Led for the majority of the first half until late in the 2nd quarter when Wake Tech went on an 8 and 0 run to secure the lead going into half time
SMC was down by as many as 12 pts in the second half and rallied back to tie the ball game with 3:49 left in 4th quarter. With 1:27 left in the game SMC was down by 1 and took the lead back with: 59 seconds remaining. SMC committed 3 turnovers which led to points for Wake tech, with: 16 seconds left SMC Down by 3 with the ball but couldn't get the shot to fall, SMC was forced to foul. Wake Tech made both free throws, SMC Had one last shot attempt which failed ending the game 74-68 in Wake Tech's favor

Deja Marshall led all scorers with 21 pts, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 3 assists

Americal Jenkins- 10 pts, 11 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks (recording her 10th double-double on the year)
