Pioneer Golf Sweeps Event at Sandhills Invitational

The men's and women's golf teams won the Sandhills Invitational in Pinehurst, NC this past weekend. This keeps both the men and women undefeated in Region X play for the Fall. Sophomore Brooke Hutto won the event individually and Jake Corn finished second in the individual play. Overall, the Pioneers had 5 players on All-Tournament teams and the margin of victory was large for both programs. Both teams are currently ranked in the top 20 of the country with the women currently ranked 7th in the latest Golfstat.com poll. The Pioneers conclude their Fall season by hosting the Region X Championship at River Falls Plantation this coming weekend.
