The Lady Pioneers traveled to Raleigh, NC to take on Wake Tech CC. The ladies improved their record to 5-0 with a 5-0 win.
Bonnie Walls (Powdersville,SC) scored at the five minute mark assisted by Kacee Merritt (Columbia,SC). The second goal was scored by Marcela Damas(Brazil) at the 12 minute mark off another assist by Merritt. Briana Lanford (Spartanburg, SC) made the score 3-0 with an assist from Teta Alexander(Savannah, GA). Kacee Merritt got into the scoring with a goal to increase the Pioneers lead to 4-0, the goal was assisted by Alex Tutterow(Boiling Springs,SC). The final goal was scored by Ashley Justice(Travelers Rest, SC) assisted by Caroline Keener (North Myrtle Beach, SC) .
SMC travels to Louisburg Junior College on Sunday for a Region X clash.
