Lady Pioneers pound USC Lancaster

The Lady Pioneers rebounded from a tough road lost with a 8-1 home victory over USC Lancaster. SMC put four goals in the back of the net each half.

Courtney Tutterow (Boiling Springs, SC) and Katlin Robins (Gilbert, SC) each had two goals.  Marcella Damas (Sao Paulo, Brazil) had one goal and one assist. Also scoring goals were Jessica McKinney (Boiling Springs, SC), Bonnie Walls (Piedmont, SC) and Marianna Soares (Sao Paulo, Brazil).  Briana Landford (Spartanburg, SC), Morgan Towery (Cowpens, SC), Ashley Justice (Travelers Rest, SC) and Tori Brown (Boiling Springs, SC) all had an assist. 

The ladies improved their record to 9-4-1.  They will host Patrick Henry CC on Sunday at 1:00 for their final home regular season game.
