
SMC Women's Golf Lowers Score by Six Strokes in Final Round of The 2025 Emmanuel Spring Invite
Hartwell, Georgia – The Spartanburg Methodist College women's golf team lowered its team score by six strokes in the final round of the Emmanuel Spring Invite for a 36-hole total of 206 (+212, 394-388).
The top player for the Pioneers was Adeline Todd, who moved up three spots with a pair of birdies in the final round. She birdied No. 3 and No. 15 on her way to a final round 85 (+13). The effort earned Todd in her first collegiate tournament 57th place overall.
Next for SMC, Isabella Marz shot a final round 91 (+19) to finish 65th and Gracelyn Toler carded a final round 103 (+31). The fourth golfer for SMC was Melanie Meredith, who finished with a 109 (+37) to finish 70th.
Mississippi College, who is ranked No. 50 in the NCAA Division II, claimed the team title by 10 strokes. The Choctaws were led by the individual victory of Ashlynd Madden, who picked up the one-stroke victory with 148 (+4, 73-75).
