Pioneers Set PRs at the LIberty 2025 Open

Lynchburg, Va. – The Spartanburg Methodist College women's track and field team set six PRs at the 2025 Liberty Open.

Freshman sprinters Dasani Kinlaw and Tieranny Jeter each set a PR in the 200m and the 400m dash, respectively. Kinlaw clocked a time of 29.15 for a personal best and 1:08.23 in the 400 for her second PR. Jeter crossed the line in 30.13 for a PR in the 200 and in 1:10.52 for a PR in the 400. A third freshman Nsimire Bahongwehre was the third Pioneer to set a PR in the 400 with a time of 1:13.00.

Sophomore Averi Vance set a PR in the mile in 6:20.33.
