
SMC Women's Track and Field Record Five PRs at Montreat Open
Montreat, N.C. – The Spartanburg Methodist College women's track and field team set five personal records (PRs) over the course of two days at Montreat Open.
Diamond Croft recorded a season-best in the 400m, finishing sixth with a time of 1:07.21. Her time ranks as the fifth-fastest in program history. Teammate Bella Shields placed ninth in 1:11.21.
Tierrany Jeter set a PR in the 200m dash, finishing seventh with a time of 28.29.
Da'Sani Kinlaw clocked 17.45 in the 100m hurdles to secure second place. She also ran the lead leg of the 4x100m relay team—alongside Croft, Jeter, and Shields—that finished second in 53.79.
The SMC mixed 4x400m relay team of Parker Balog, Sophia Outhous, Caleb Williams, and Polly Addington took second with a time of 3:53.04.
