Mackenna Sowell Named CAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Spartanburg Methodist College women's track and field student-athlete Mackenna Sowell, a freshman from Mauldin was named the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Monday for her performance on Saturday at the SWU/Susan Rouse Invitational.
Sowell recorded the best throws in the conference to date in the shot put with a toss of 24-5.75 (7.46m) and in the discus 72-11 (22.22m).
