Pioneers Begin Outdoor Portion of Schedule
Central, S.C. – The Spartanburg Methodist College men's track and field team began the outdoor portion of its schedule at the SWU Susan Rouse Invite on Saturday.
Sprinter Romeo Brown was another one of the top performers for the Pioneers with a second-place finish in the 200 (22.34) and a third-place finish in the 100 (10.70). Another top performer was Ryan Hunter, who was third in the 3000 with a time of 9:58.60.
The 4x400m relay team of Kelly III, Parker Balog, Matthew Gunter and Nathan Clark were fifth with a time of 3:47.71 and the 4x100m relay team of Balog, Brown, Javion Brannon and Gunter were sixth in a time of 43.99.
Newcomers Caleb Williams and Andre Kelly III were seventh (2:06.39) and 11th (2:08.17) in the 800m run, respectively.
