Tristan Craine and Hana Vucinic Receive Recognition from CAC

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College volleyball standouts Tristan Craine and Hana Vucinic earned Continental Athletic Conference Setter and Defender of the Week recognition, respectively on Monday.

The first-year NAIA program under the direction of head coach Makayla Holcombe is off to a 6-9 start and the two earned the weekly recognition for their effort in the Pioneers win last week at Bob Jones University.

Against BJU, Craine had a double double with 26 assists and 13 digs in the four-set win and Vucinic recorded a season-high and match-high 25 digs to go along with five service aces in the win.

Next, on Tuesday, the two and the SMC volleyball team will host Carolina University at 6:30 p.m. at Bridges Arena.
