SMC Men's Golf Begins 2024-25 Season

Anderson, S.C. - The Spartanburg Methodist College men's golf team started its season in the opening round of the Bruins Golf Classic with a 318 (+30). As a team, the Pioneers are in fifth place in the 10-team field.

Preston Carr led the Pioneers with a 75 (+3) and is fifth place overall after recording a pair of birdies in his opening round. The top individual is Jaime Crispi of Cumberlands, who shot a one-under 71. North Greenvillle holds the team lead by one stroke with a +14.

Also for SMC, Parker Harrigan posted a round of 80 (+8) that included a pair of birdies for 23rd place. Just behind him in 26th is AJ Bolin, who shot an 81 (+9), followed by Andrew Walker who is in 31st with an 82 (+10) and Tucker Simon is 43rd with an 85 (+13).
