Lane Carr Named CAC Men's Golfer of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Lane Carr of the Spartanburg Methodist College men's golf team tied for 10th place at the Sherman B. Smith Memorial en route to being named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week on Monday. The freshman from Medina, Tennessee shot a one-under-par 71 in the second round behind three birdies. Carr began the tournament with a 74-stroke score after carding four birdies during the first round.
